ABOUT US
Agorà – Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine is a scientific society active in the development and training of Aesthetic Medicine in Italy and around the world.
Since 1986, through its Post-University School, it has codified Aesthetic Medicine with evaluations, procedures and guidelines.
For over 34 years, it has been a benchmark for aesthetic medicine and was the first school to train doctors with an Italian perspective on the issue. This school significantly differs from the international one in its focus on care, in-depth study, and a range of specific treatments in this particular field: a "soft" approach to the problem, ensuring it remains unobtrusive and achieving results that appear natural.
Since 1998, Agorà – Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine has also organized and promoted the annual International Congress of Aesthetic Medicine, an important international event for ongoing interdisciplinary discussion and scientific updates on all the latest developments in the field.
MINISTERIAL RECOGNITION
Pursuant to Article 5 of Law No. 8 March 2017 and Ministerial Decree No. 2 August 2017, the Ministry of Health has included Agorà AMIEST – the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine, active in the development and training of Aesthetic Medicine since 1984, among the entities authorized and authorized to issue guidelines for Aesthetic Medicine, which doctors and other professionals in the sector must adhere to in practicing their profession.
Pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 3, of the Ministerial Decree of July 29, 2017, Agorà was selected by the National Observatory of Best Practices on Healthcare Safety among the scientific societies and technical-scientific associations it can rely on to identify prevention measures and manage healthcare risks, as well as to monitor best practices for healthcare safety.
AGORÀ CLINICAL CENTER
Our commitment does not stop at training, our Clinical Center is a facility dedicated to patients that integrates training, research, treatment and management of complications.
The Agorà Clinical and Training Center is an outpatient facility equipped with the best diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and an expression of the training of the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (Agorà).
In a modern complex of over 1,200 square meters, just steps from the heart of Milan, it combines the headquarters of the four-year Postgraduate School of Aesthetic Medicine and the Clinical Center as a reference center in Aesthetic Medicine and related disciplines for the care, health, and well-being of all patients.

CONFERENCE AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES
During its numerous conference events and training activities, Agorà includes in-depth sessions dedicated to Complications in Aesthetic Medicine.
SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE OBSERVATORY
Agorà, in its ongoing commitment to continuing education in Aesthetic Medicine, has for years developed a continuous review of the international scientific literature published in leading accredited journals, thanks to the valuable contributions of experts in the field and other related fields.
INSTITUTIONAL ACTIVITIES
As a qualified interlocutor, it proposes and collaborates with national institutions, as well as with European and international Community bodies, in order to make scientific findings and the experiences of specialists available to increasingly improve public health protection, also in collaboration with other scientific societies.
SAFETY PROMOTION
Agorà's primary objective is increasingly cutting-edge, safe, trained, and informed medicine, as well as patient-focused. This medicine must be synonymous with safety, where protecting patient health and therefore controlling who, where, and how the profession is practiced must be paramount.
COLLECTION OF REPORTS
Agorà has always worked for safe and ethical Aesthetic Medicine: the scientific society has set up its own Observatory dedicated to reporting, in addition to the one set up together with the Italian College of Scientific Societies of Aesthetic Medicine.
The purpose of these collections is to act as an institutional and scientific communications actor in order to develop actions and identify therapeutic protocols thanks to the essential support of professionals in the sector.
COMPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT CENTER
The "Centro Clinico Agorà" complex houses the Center for Complications in Aesthetic Medicine, which, through the collaborative work of a multidisciplinary team, manages complications arising from aesthetic medicine treatments.
