During the preliminary visit, the doctor will conduct an initial medical history assessment, including reviewing the patient's medical records. A visual examination will also be performed to better assess any aesthetic medicine complications.

Further diagnostic tests, such as ultrasound scans, may be requested and prescribed.

Following the preliminary visit, the patient will be given a report.

If a complication occurs, its management will follow a personalized process based on the individual clinical case, also based on the severity of the complication.  

Treatment of the complication may be pharmacological, medical, surgical or with the use of medical technologies.
