TRAINING
He worked until 1996 as a Training Assistant at the Plastic Surgery and Burns Center of the Niguarda Hospital in Milan with Prof. Luigi Donati.
He was a senior director at the Plastic Surgery Division of the Clinical Institutes for Advanced Training in Milan, specializing in reconstructive surgery, particularly with regard to congenital malformations.
From April 2000 to 2005 he was Assistant Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Galeazzi Hospital in Milan.
SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
He has published numerous articles in national and international specialized journals, also contributing to the publication of books and monographs.
He completed advanced training courses abroad, in particular at the University of Munich in Germany.
He has participated as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences on plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine topics.
Lecturer (and scientific secretary) of the Master's in Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Milan since 2007, lecturer at the II level Master's in Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine at the University of Genoa since 2008, lecturer since the 2002 academic year at the Agorà Postgraduate School of Aesthetic Medicine in Milan.
PROFILE
He was first a rescue volunteer and then the Health Manager of the Italian Red Cross for some Milanese delegations, responsible for organizing courses and emergency relief.
He is a member of numerous national and European specialized scientific societies; in particular, he is a full member of the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery, of which he has been Vice President since 2008, and is a full member of the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SIPCRE), as well as of the AICPE (Italian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery).
He was a visiting professor in 2008 at the University Clinic of Plastic Surgery of the University of Mansoura (Egypt).
He is Editor in Chief of the journal "Up date in plastic surgery", the official organ of the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery.
